I’m pleased to announce that Attribute Changer 9 is available as a free download. It includes some most requested features from users, such as:

· Capitalize Name / Extension / Name and extension
· Redate folder date based on oldest file
· Redate folder date based on newest file
· Enable or disable strict mode for randomization of dates
· Modify symbolic links and junctions and not the target anymore

IMPORTANT INFO: In Attribute Changer 9, the “Include sub-folders” option on the “File Properties” tab has been removed. Due to the new advanced features “Redate with newest file” and “Redate with oldest file”, a full scan of all files is always required and the option did not make sense anymore. Use the “Include sub-folders” option on the “Folder Properties” tab to enable recursive processing of folders.

This version does not support Windows XP and Vista anymore. Attribute Changer 8.70 will remain available from this website if you are still using these versions of Windows.

A new release of Attribute Changer is available for immediate download and includes the following modifications:

· Fixed issue with Apply button triggering Reporting tab to appear when ‘Always display Processing Report’ setting is unchecked

Just in time for the end of 2016, go and grab a new release of Attribute Changer. Version 8.60 is available for immediate download and includes the following modifications:

· Update : Make application icons DPI aware
· Update : Make context menu icon DPI aware
· Update : Minor user interface changes
· Update : Updated user guide

Many users requested a change to the icons as they were really small on high-resolution displays when settings were changed to support a DPI setting larger than the default 96. This request has now been implemented.

A maintenance release of Attribute Changer 8.50 is available for immediate download.

The fonts in the Filter dialog boxes for files and folders were oversized when large fonts are enabled in Windows.

A bug regarding accent characters is fixed when changing file and folder case. Attribute Changer did not modify characters like è, ö, ä, ü, æ …

A new release of Attribute Changer is available and features a complete 64-bit build. If the setup is launched on a 64-bit Windows, Attribute Changer will do the following modifications:

· Install a complete 64-bit build of Attribute Changer on your machine
· Remove the existing 32-bit installation of Attribute Changer.

The following modifications were made in Attribute Changer :

· Attribute Changer is now a 64-bit application
· Fixed incorrect Simulation checkbox state in a rare condition
· Installer includes 32 and 64-bit binaries
· 32-bit installation automatically upgraded to 64-bit on Windows x64
