I registered a new domain and this website is now accessible using http://www.petges.lu or the well known http://www.petges.com
Some progress has been made to Attribute Changer but my priorities are still in real life. Computing has become a minor task and I think it won't change in the near future.
Several european computing magazines asked for permission to distribute Attribute Changer on CD's with their printed magazines ... Many thanks to contribute to the success of Attribute Changer !
Apple news : Apple released a back ported beta release of their Dashcode development environment for Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) . With this tool, you can develop and debug Dashboard widgets in an XCode like environment.
All you need is a free ADC (Apple Developer Connection) membership to get it for free. The final release will be included in Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Well, I'm still alive but there isn't enough room for the moment to do some development on Attribute Changer, at least not enough to make it progress faster.
By the way, I bought an 20" Apple iMac with an Intel processor and migrated everything from Windows XP to Mac OS X and I'm really enjoying this operating system ... no more tweaking the registry, no fear to connect to the internet, fun with iLife .... it simply works.
To continue Attribute Changer development, I purchased Parallels Desktop virtualization software and configured a virtual machine in host only mode to prevent access to the Internet. In the meantime, I also dropped my old Delphi 5 development platform for Attribute Changer in favor of Turbo Delphi Explorer Edition which can be downloaded free of charge from http://www.turboexplorer.com

This website is made on an iMac with RapidWeaver. More information can be found at http://www.realmacsoftware.com

One of the most asked questions in emails is if there will ever be a new release and the answer is : YES, but ...
Sometimes, you are obligated to review your priorities, especially if one of your family members needs help due to health problems. After months of big frustrations, I developed another small application (LuxDSL Volume) to raise the morale.
Since a week, I restarted Attribute Changer development and here are some news :
As already mentioned in December, the GUI is feature complete and I'm currently implementing GUI event handling. Everything looks quite good and I would like to release a preview version to test the GUI, but no processing code will be activated. The reason for this is, that the new version is a 95% rewrite of the application.
So, please be patient and sorry for the months of silence.
